1. INFORMATION PINCAM MAY ACCESS OR PROCESS

PinCam only requests access to information that is reasonably required to provide its camera, location-tagging, map, photo-saving, analytics, advertising, and related features.

1.1 Location Information

PinCam may request access to your device’s location while you use location-related features.

Location information may include:

Precise or approximate location

Latitude and longitude

Location accuracy

Altitude

Compass direction or device heading

Address or place information

Map location

This information is used to add location-related details to photos, display your position on a map, retrieve an address, and provide other location-based functionality requested by you.

PinCam does not intentionally track your location when you are not using the App’s location-based features.

You can deny or withdraw location permission at any time through your device settings. Some map, address, GPS, or photo-tagging features may not function correctly without location access.

1.2 Camera Access

PinCam requests camera access so you can capture photos through the App.

The App does not access or activate the camera without your permission and an action initiated by you.

1.3 Photos and Photo Library

PinCam may request access to your photo library to:

Import an existing photo

Save a captured or edited photo

Add a GPS, map, date, time, address, or other tag to a photo

Allow you to select, export, or share a photo

Photos created or edited through PinCam are normally stored on your device.

We do not intentionally upload your photos to our servers unless you actively use a feature that clearly requires uploading, backup, synchronization, support, or sharing.

When you share a photo through another app or service, the receiving service processes the photo according to its own privacy policy.

1.4 Photo Metadata

Photos created using PinCam may contain visible or embedded information selected by you, such as:

GPS coordinates

Address

Date and time

Map details

Altitude

Compass direction

Weather information

Location accuracy

When you share a photo containing this information, other people may be able to view or extract its location and time information.

You should review the photo and its visible or embedded information before sharing it publicly.

1.5 Map, Address, and Weather Requests

To provide maps, address information, geocoding, weather details, or related location services, PinCam may send location coordinates and technical request information to third-party service providers.

These providers process the information according to their respective privacy policies and contractual terms.

1.6 Device and Technical Information

PinCam and its service providers may automatically process limited technical information, including:

Device model

Operating system and version

App version

Language and region

Device or installation identifiers

IP address

App launch and interaction data

Crash logs

Performance and diagnostic information

Advertising interaction information

This information may be used for app functionality, analytics, fraud prevention, security, crash reporting, performance monitoring, advertising, and service improvement.

1.7 Advertising Information

The free or ad-supported version of PinCam may display advertisements provided by third-party advertising partners.

Depending on your region, device settings, consent choices, and Apple permissions, advertising partners may process information such as:

1.8 Purchase Information

If PinCam offers in-app purchases or subscriptions, payments are processed by Apple through the App Store.

We do not directly receive or store your complete payment card or banking details.

We may receive limited purchase-related information, such as:

This information is used to unlock purchased features, validate transactions, restore purchases, prevent fraud, and provide customer support.

Depending on the released version of the App, these services may include:

You should remove any service from this section that is not included in the released version of PinCam and add any other SDK or service that processes user information.

4.1 Service Providers

Information may be shared with service providers that help us operate maps, address lookup, weather, analytics, crash reporting, advertising, purchases, hosting, security, and customer support.

4.2 User-Initiated Sharing

When you choose to export or share a photo, information included in the photo may be sent to the app, person, platform, or service selected by you.

We do not control how the receiving party uses information that you intentionally share.

4.3 Legal Requirements

We may disclose information where reasonably necessary to:

6. DATA STORAGE AND RETENTION

Photos saved through PinCam normally remain on your device until you delete them.

Information processed by analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, map, weather, purchase, or support providers may be retained according to their respective retention policies.

We retain information under our control only for as long as reasonably necessary to:

Provide the App and requested services

Resolve technical or support issues

Maintain security

Prevent fraud or abuse

Satisfy accounting, legal, or regulatory requirements

Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims

Information may be deleted, anonymized, or aggregated when it is no longer required.

7. YOUR PRIVACY CHOICES

You control many of PinCam’s permissions through iOS Settings.

You may:

Use approximate location where supported

Disable location access

Disable camera access

Limit or disable photo-library access

Disable tracking permission

Reset or limit advertising identifiers

Delete photos saved on your device

Delete the App and its locally stored app data

Disabling a permission may prevent the related feature from functioning.

You may also open the PinCam section in iOS Settings to manage permissions granted specifically to the App.

8. PRIVACY RIGHTS

Depending on your country or region, you may have the right to:

Request access to personal information

Request a copy of certain information

Opt out of certain advertising or tracking activities

You are responsible for reviewing location or other sensitive details included in a photo before sharing it.

10. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

PinCam is not specifically directed to children below the minimum age required to consent to data processing under applicable law.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without the authorization required by applicable law.

If you believe that a child has provided personal information improperly, contact us at [Support Email Address] so we can review and take appropriate action.

PinCam should not be listed in the App Store Kids Category if it contains third-party advertising or analytics that do not satisfy Apple’s Kids Category requirements.

11. INTERNATIONAL DATA PROCESSING

Third-party service providers may process information in countries or regions other than the country where you live.

Where required, we and our service providers use appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.

12. EXTERNAL LINKS AND SERVICES

PinCam may contain links to external websites, support pages, maps, sharing services, or third-party content.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices, security, or content of external services. You should review their privacy policies before providing information.

13. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, legal requirements, or our data practices change.

The updated policy will show a revised “Last Updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated through the App, the App Store listing, or another appropriate method.

Continued use of PinCam after an update means the revised policy applies to your future use of the App, subject to applicable law.
